singapore  bodega’s responsibilities included architectural design support for the wetland bridge study while collaborating with the prime-consultant, atelier dreiseitl, a pioneer in environmental planning and stormwater design. through a series of platforms projecting over the canalized stream pedestrians engage the waterways from the floating boardwalks along the park system. the 130-hectare wetland is a treasured stomping ground for nature lovers and bird watchers enjoying vibrancy of flora and fauna, including over 220 species of birds. the rochor canal redevelopment focuses on preserving the biodiversity of the wetland reserve set aside for habitat conservation and research. once completed, the park will feature a new 38-hectare of open space with observation hides and coastal boardwalks allowing visitors to submerge in nature enjoying enhanced and integrated outdoor experience.
