puebla education & visitor’s interpretive center
city of puebla, mexico the need to reverse wetland degradation and recognize benefits associated with its ecosystem has led to numerous restoration projects in the valley of puebla mexico. focusing on the integrity of ecological and social systems, the effort included a 45.5 acre wetland restoration, site protection and habitat restoration along the southern canals of the city of puebla. expressing the character of the place with minimal impact upon the sensitive environment, bodega provided architectural design through the design development stages for the multi-level education and visitor’s interpretive center, the associated greenhouses, and community facilities with a day-use structure, while collaborating with grupo de diseño urbano of mexico city.
